Before you reformat your pendrive or USB memory, you must ask yourself if it is really necessary, since the pendrive come from the factory with a special format, and possibly it's best not to change it.
If you want to format to erase all your information we recommend that you spend a few more minutes and do a complete erasure of data.

If you have yet another reason or want to format your pendrive to bear in mind the following:

1. The pendrive devices are very practical and versatile, mainly because they operate in virtually any computer with USB port, this is

2. Some manufacturers provide on its website special programs to format your USB stick, if your memory is branded, you may want to look first at the site of the manufacturer.

If the manufacturer of your pendrive does not have a tool for the formatting, you can do it directly from your operating system, Windows,
you have to perform the following steps.

1. Connect your pendrive to the USB port and waiting to be detected by Windows.
2. Join My Computer and click the right mouse button on the drive of your pendrive, and the menu select "Format"

5. Verify that the box "Quick Format" is not checked
